Why choose Musication remote education?

Learning remotely is as fast and easy as in-person.
Thanks to modern high quality video and sound connections, I am easily able to recognise problems within your playing ergonomics and techniques. You'll get clear instructions on how to produce first-rate playing with ease and learn new songs and techniques fast.

Musication distance teaching always includes a free 15 min introductory call, during which we will create your personal curriculum and make sure the connection works as intended.
I'll also create a digital student folder for you, where you'll be able to find the lesson material where ever you are.

Compared to in-person lessons, we will play more often by turns. This will encourage you to take a more active role with observing and developing your playing skills.
Like with in-person lessons, you'll get most insights during the lesson, but the mechanics of your playing will develop primarily during your regular independent practise.

- Open the Google Meet link I sent you, but don't join the call yet. You'll find the settings menu by clicking the three dots at the upper right corner of your camera feed window.
- Video: Settings → Video → Backgrounds and effects → Appearance: Make sure the "Framing" setting is turned off. It is also advisable to turn off all blur effects and filters, so I can see your guitar well.
- Microphone: Settings → Audio → Microphone: The best option depends on your available devices. You can test different microphones with making a test recording. Using the built-in computer microphone usually works well.
- Sound: Settings → Sound: If you see a setting that says "noise cancellation", "studio sound" or "push to talk", make sure all of these settings are off. If they are on, your guitar sound will be mistaken for background noise and gets filtered out. Some of these settings might not be available for all users.
- Test recording: Under your camera feed, there are three buttons: microphone, speaker and camera. The buttons are named according to your devices. Choose kamera → Make a test recording. Make sure that your instrument and voice sounds good on the test recording. You can also test what available microphone gives the best results.
